Terms of service

These Terms of Service govern purchases from and use of ArcHive Studio's online store. By accessing the store or purchasing a product, you agree to these terms and to Shopify's applicable checkout terms.

Digital products

Products are supplied electronically in the formats identified in each listing. No physical product is included unless a listing expressly says otherwise. Product previews, descriptions, included-file lists, and compatibility notes form part of the product information.

License

Purchasing a digital product grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the files according to the license included with that product. Unless a listing or included license states otherwise, you may use the files for personal projects and may sell physical end products that you make using the files.

You may not resell, share, sublicense, distribute, upload, post, trade, give away, or otherwise make the original or modified digital files available to another person. You may not include the files in another digital bundle, design library, membership, template, or download product. You may not claim ownership of or register the underlying artwork as your trademark. All rights not expressly granted remain with ArcHive Studio and/or its licensors. If an included product license conflicts with this general section, the included product license controls for that product.

Machine use and safety

Digital files are design resources, not a substitute for machine training, engineering review, or safe fabrication practices. You are responsible for checking dimensions, scale, geometry, tool paths, kerf, material suitability, machine settings, clearances, and applicable safety requirements before cutting, engraving, fabricating, or selling a finished item. Test on suitable scrap material before production.

Orders and payment

Prices are shown in the store's displayed currency. Orders are accepted after successful payment authorization. We may cancel or refund an order affected by a pricing error, suspected fraud, unauthorized use, or a technical problem that prevents lawful fulfillment.

Refunds

Refund eligibility is governed by our Refund Policy. Nothing in these terms excludes rights that cannot legally be waived.

Acceptable use

You may not use the store or products for unlawful, infringing, deceptive, harmful, or abusive purposes. You may not interfere with store security, attempt unauthorized access, scrape protected content, or use purchased files in a way that violates another person's rights or applicable law.

Availability and changes

We may correct listing errors, update files, change pricing, or discontinue products. We do not guarantee that every product or service will remain available indefinitely.

Disclaimer and limitation

To the extent permitted by law, digital products are provided as described in the listing without guarantees concerning a particular machine, material, production method, or commercial result. ArcHive Studio is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses arising from use of a file. Where liability cannot be excluded, our aggregate liability relating to a product will not exceed the amount paid for that product, except where applicable law requires otherwise.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws applicable in California, United States, without limiting mandatory consumer protections that apply where you reside.
